My ex-wife and daughters mom went to school with Haring at CCAD. We had alot of his stuff on loan at The Toledo Museum of Art (where I used to work), some of his major stuff he legt behind after a workshop and lecture. After he died they sent if all back. You would think they would have at least bought a couple pieces (I asume that is why he left them on loan). Though they have a couple prints, no Franz Kline (my favorite) paintings either. Theve got Pollack and some of the other ash can school but no Kline. I huess they are to into theall the Rembrants, Monets, and Manets to give ebery one their due. Those 40 year old stalkers you talk about?
don't worry! I'm almost 47. My daughter turned 18 last week. I have yet to get involved with anyone less than half my age and don't think I would want to see anyone her age. The 22 year old friend I lived with a couple of years ago made her uncomfortable because she looked so young. I don't ever wanna do anything that bothers my daughter as she has been the sweetest gift one could ever wish for. Her picture is in my gallery under "Isolation". My friend Tonya is in there too- a nude torso shot with wonderful light an shadow called a friend. Thanks for the comment. That was very nice of you.
